Men's Ministry - The Total man
The Total Man is a group of men part of House of Revival Church Kisaasi, committed to following the lead established by our Lord Jesus Christ to discover our purpose in life through fellowship and service to our church and community. Our activities are designed to seek to model the life of Christ in our teaching, fellowship and service by fostering and developing spiritual relationships.
What we are about:
The Men’s Ministry exists to develop Biblically-grounded men of faith who:
- Will positively impact their families, their church, the businesses that they work for, and the community in which they live.
- Will understand their roles as husbands, fathers and role models from the scriptures.
- Will Create healthy bonding and friendships with other men of the church
- Explore the Word of God in study.
- Help hold other men accountable to God’s standards.
- Engage in activities which provide social and intellectual development and expressions of various economic, intellectual, and social strata.
Our team
Our team
The Total Man ministry leadership is headed by the Men’s Leader and support Team that is overseen by an Elder who reports to the Senior Pastor of the Church at House of Revival. The men who are members and fellowship at House of Revival qualify to be part of the Total Man Ministry.
Our department activities
We spend time nourishing our selves through:
- Monthly Meetings
- Yearly Retreats
- Christian Movies Nights
- Overnight Prayer Sessions
Criteria to join the Ministry
- Must be a member of House of Revival Church for at least one year
- Demonstrated a spirit of service throughout their stay in House of Revival Church
- Demonstrated commitment to reading, studying and interest in teaching the Word.
- Has interest in and demonstrated traits of leadership.
- Demonstrates commitment to ministry and is teachable.
- Willing to serve on a purely voluntary basis.
- Has a high sense of community, responsibility, initiative, and dependability.
- Being a writer is added advantage.
