Our belief
We strongly believe that the proper management of the Finances is one of the major pillars of our church and an essential arm to a successful ministry.
Department Activities
Our department activities center around ensuring efficient and effective financial management and ensuring that the guiding financial policies and controls are adhered to as we support all the church activities.
The department has a broad range of activities to carry out within or outside the church, namely;
- Does the day-to-day recording, analysis and interpretation of a church’s financial transactions
- Generates and maintains church funds to support the church.
- Gives systematic financial reporting to help the church see how it is performing and adhering to the budget, through monthly or quarterly reports.
- Manages the audit exercise of the church's financial records.
- Provides Assurance to its stakeholders like Donors on how funds are spent.
- Prepares annual budget projections based on planned activities and revenue projections for individual departmental activities.
- Facilitates the payment of suppliers and adherence to the statutory regulatory authorities.
The joining criteria
- Must be a member of the House of Revival
- Is an accountant by training.
- Has integrity.
- Analytical and attends to details.
- Should be dependable and self-driven.
- Willing to offer voluntary service to the church
- Is self-driven and has a sense of responsibility.
